Bethesda Baptist Church is blessed being situated near Buggs Island Lake, also known as John H. Kerr Dam and Reservoir, as well as Lake Gaston. We embrace opportunities to share the Gospel and serve people in the Boydton area of Mecklenburg County, Virginia. Our current Pastor calls our church a "Pastor's paradise." We are earnestly and patiently seeking a part-time pastor, who may be retired, semi-retired, co-vocational (or bi-vocational) and who is called to serve God in our lakeside community. We are a participating member of Baptist General Association of Virginia and the Concord Baptist Association. Our congregation seeks to be loving, friendly, encouraging, and campers are always welcome. Our vision is to see and act on Gospel opportunities that emerge in our community! Come worship with us!
