Carlisle Avenue Baptist Church in Richmond, VA is searching for a Church Pianist. The Pianist is responsible for working with the Pastor and Music Coordinator in the music ministry of the church. Duties: Plays for Sunday Worship Services, special services and rehearsals. Serves as accompanist for choirs and other ensembles as needed. Assists the Music Coordinator in planning music for worship services, choir rehearsals and special music events. The position is part-time, estimated to require an average of 3-4 hours per week. Requirements: Requires skill to play the piano at a competent level. Prior church experience is desirable but not mandatory, or a combination of training and experience.
