Job Opening: Associate Pastor Chatham Heights Baptist Church & First Baptist Church of Martinsville (VA) Two sister CBF churches in Martinsville, Virginia are seeking a full-time Associate Pastor to provide spiritual leadership and pastoral care. This role combines pastoral ministry, leadership development, and program oversight to nurture faith formation across generations and strengthen family discipleship within the life of both churches. Key Responsibilities: • Provide pastoral care to children, youth, and families, including visitation and relationship-building. • Assist in worship leadership, including planning, coordinating, and participating in services. • Develop and implement a clear, Christ-centered vision for Children and Youth Ministries. • Create and lead strategies for family discipleship, equipping parents and caregivers to nurture faith at home. • Recruit, train, schedule, and support volunteers and ministry leaders. • Leverage partnerships to enhance ministry opportunities for children, youth, and families.
