Part-Time Facility Use Coordinator Location: Gayton Baptist Church, Richmond, VA Hours: 20 hours/week Compensation: Starting at $20/hr, commensurate with experience Gayton Baptist Church is seeking a reliable, friendly, and detail-oriented Facility Use Coordinator to coordinate the day-to-day operations of the facility, both internally among church ministries, groups, and programming; and externally among community organizations that use our building. This part-time role is essential to keeping our ministry organized, welcoming, and running smoothly. Key Responsibilities: ● Promote, receive, coordinate, and communicate with external groups ● Recruit, train, source, schedule, and supervise Building Hosts ● Serve as primary point of contact for all uses of facility by church-related groups/individuals/staff, and community groups/individuals ● Monitor building use and ministry activity calendar for internal and external use ● Serve as point of contact for off-hours groups ● Set-up/clean-up, coordinate other hosts, marketing, attending/supporting large events, coordinating tech for events ● Cross train on sound, media, hvac, phone, and tech systems ● Maintain a database of building inventory (chairs, tables, supplies, etc.) ● Attend Facility Task Group Meetings as staff liaison ● Secure help in setting up/ taking down/ resetting before or after events when Facility Manager is unavailable Qualifications: ● Strong organizational and communication skills ● Proficiency with Google Suite and normal office software ● Friendly, welcoming demeanor and team spirit ● Experience in an office or church setting (preferred but not required) ● A commitment to the vision and spiritual life of the congregation To Apply: Please send your resume and a brief cover letter to Office@Gayton.Church
