The Newington Courthouse Preschool and Kindergarten is now hiring a kindergarten teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This position is open until filled. Job Posting: Seeking licensed kindergarten teacher for a small kindergarten class at our thriving, licensed, and accredited half-day, Christian preschool and kindergarten. Our kindergarten currently meets Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. This individual must have a proven background in early childhood development and education. Primary responsibilities include: · Planning and executing lessons that meet kindergarten standards and best practices. · Working with the director and other teachers on classroom organization and programs. · Communicating with parents. · Evaluating students’ progress and maintaining academic records. · Helping to provide and maintain a Christian environment in our school. Must be a self-starter, organized and tech savvy. Individual must undergo and pass a background check and have or obtain CPR and first aid certification.
