Pastor – Remington Baptist Church Remington Baptist Church is a small, close-knit congregation rooted in faith, community, and care for one another. We are prayerfully seeking a Pastor who will walk alongside our church family, lead us spiritually, and help guide us into our next chapter of ministry. Position Overview Remington Baptist Church is seeking either a full-time or part-time Pastor, depending on the experience, calling, and availability of the candidate. We welcome applications for either arrangement and will prayerfully discern what best meets the needs of our congregation and future ministry. Primary Responsibilities • Prepare and deliver weekly sermons grounded in Scripture • Lead worship services and provide spiritual leadership • Engage children during worship, including a weekly children’s message/chat • Support and encourage children, families, and intergenerational worship • Coordinate and support pastoral care efforts alongside deacons and church committees • Work collaboratively with deacons and church leadership • Represent the church within the local community Qualifications • A clear calling to pastoral ministry • Ordained • College degree required (seminary education preferred but not required) • Demonstrated ability to connect with children, families, and adults • Prior pastoral or ministry experience preferred but not required • Willingness to successfully complete a criminal background check Compensation Compensation and hours will be commensurate with experience and position status (full-time or part-time) and will be discussed during the interview process.
