Established small-town church with an active congregation seeks a pastor to support us in our community focus as we look to revitalize and grow. Key responsibilities include: *delivering engaging & applicable weekly sermons *fostering spiritual growth and discipleship within the church *visiting sick and/or homebound congregants *making contact with prospective church members *maintaining adequate office hours & ensuring accessibility to church and community members Desired qualities: *possessing biblical knowledge & spiritual discernment *caring *passionate *servant leader *supportive of women in leadership roles(particularly in the role of deacon) *comfortable working with diverse age groups(youth-senior adults) *eager to establish positive relationships within the congregation and local community *interested in supporting current ministries & excited to share new ideas
