Grace Baptist Church (GBC) is prayerfully seeking a full-time pastor to build from the established foundation according to our church constitution. Our ideal candidate would be a family-oriented man, 3+ years as a pastor, effective preaching and communication skills, and a heart for reaching God’s people through missions, expository preaching, and community engagement. GBC is a warm and inviting church which hosts 25-50 congregants on any given Sunday. The ideal candidate will be called to lead a congregation eager to strengthen our ministries and continue with our mission vision that includes impact on the local, state, regional, national and international levels. Our corporal ministries are based on Biblically based and serve the community. We reach beyond our community as we support mission causes generously and send mission teams and disaster response teams across Virginia, the US, and the world. We are affiliated with the Cooperative Program, Henry County Baptist Association, Rockingham Pregnancy Care Center, Gideons, as well as the Good News Jail and Prison Ministry. Our location in Ridgeway, Virginia features a NASCAR track that brings in 50,000+ people several times per year. Our community is a loving but tough people. Our church is a close-knit group of like-minded believers with a strong sense of unity and family. We like to engage our community with various outreach programs throughout the year.
