Overview: The Worship Pastor at King’s Grant Church will lead and oversee the worship ministry, working closely with the Lead Pastor to plan services and coordinate music, stage design, and other worship elements. This role includes developing and leading worship teams, recruiting and training volunteers, and organizing special services and events. The Worship Pastor will also provide spiritual guidance for worship team members and ensure a spiritually enriching environment for the congregation. Specifics: 1. Plans, coordinates and executes all aspects and services of worship ministry (traditional and modern) including managing all church musical ensembles (adult choir, band, etc.). 2. Works with the pastors in planning Sunday services, functioning as the Worship coordinator for all churchwide services. 3. Ensures that the music program becomes a conduit for spiritual maturity and church growth. 4. Communicates and coordinates with other staff members to ensure the smooth functioning of worship activities. 5. Supervises all musical personnel including paid and volunteer musicians. 6. Recruits, trains, and educates volunteer musicians and A/V technicians. 7. Secures and maintains the music library, music supplies, subscriptions, musical instruments, and equipment. 8. Plans the yearly worship budget, funding, and purchase of worship-related expenditures. What You Bring: 1. Possess and demonstrate creativity, knowledge, and appreciation for varying musical styles and effectively function as a worship leader. 2. Be comfortable with A/V equipment as well as necessary software for livestreaming, etc. 3. Be an innovator, demonstrating the ability not only to cast vision for the worship arts ministry but how to execute the vision 4. Demonstrate comfort in leading different styles of worship 5. Possess strong musical ability, demonstrating skills in solo performance, choral leadership, instruments, and/or keyboard. 6. Be able to effectively communicate with Senior Pastor, staff and congregation both written and verbal. Must deal with diverse groups utilizing tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity. 7. Be a team player 8. Possess strong planning and organizational skills. Must be self-motivated 9.
