BCM at Virginia Tech begins with the end in mind. At graduation, we want to see BCMers who love God, love people, and are ready to live out their faith well beyond the walls of their churches. Every spring for the second half of the semester, Hokies preparing to graduate come to Darrell and Laura Cook’s house for dessert, fellowship, and Bible studies that help them think through the transitions ahead as they follow Jesus in the “real world.” Their experience culminates with Senior Supper – complete with a children’s story, an induction into the BCM Alumni Association, and a commissioning prayer. BCM offers a place to belong, to thrive spiritually, and to develop deep friendships. Throughout their four years, students make these deep connections in BCM through family group Bible studies, 6:33 worship nights, discipleship and leadership, mission trips, and much more. Senior Bible Study is the perfect capstone to these life-changing years.
