Woman's Missionary Union of Virginia (WMUV) President Lucianne Warren announced today that their Board of Trustees has accepted a letter of retirement from Executive Director/Treasurer, Dr. Valerie Carter Smith, effective January 31, 2025. Valerie has served in this position since 2014.

Warren explained that they will be forming a committee soon, and she asked for prayer as they begin our search for the person God is preparing to lead WMUV onward with wisdom, vision for the future, and passion for equipping individuals and churches to be on mission for Christ.

WMUV has been a valued ministry partner of BGAV since 1874.
